Hello! I'm Matilde, the heart behind Wag & Wander. Originally from a family of animal lovers in both France and Italy, I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals on farms, from dogs and cats to horses, chickens, and many more. My family and I spent much of our time rescuing, caring for, and giving animals a second chance at life, and it shaped me into the passionate, animal-obsessed person I am today.
When I moved to the UK, I found that having animals of my own became a lot more tricky. The opportunities and logistics were just not the same as they were back home. That's when I decided to channel my lifelong love for animals into something meaningful — that's how my pet care service was born. I started this business because I believe that every animal deserves the best care, attention, and love, whether it’s a leisurely walk, a quick potty break, or extra cuddles while you're away.
With years of experience in handling animals and a deep understanding of their needs, I make sure that each pet I care for receives the same warmth and attention I would give to my own.
